Are You Ready For Some Football [food]?

The time is almost here!  The Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots are matched up to play in Houston, Texas at the 51st Super Bowl!! And as much as I love football, I love eating gameday food!  Good thing the two go hand-in-hand.  Here’s 10 gameday food ideas for your Super Bowl party!

1. Cheesy Pinwheels

Flaky puff pastry + oozing cheese + bacon……. NEED I SAY MORE?

2. Jalapeno Popper Chicken Salad Croissants

This is quick and easy and will fill at least a dozen croissants.  Double the recipe if you’re having a lot of people over.

3. Savory Palmiers

These look very fancy but they’re incredibly easy to make.  Be careful though, they’re super addicting.

4. Bacon Dill Deviled Eggs

I always hope for some extra filling mixture to eat off the spoon!

5. Layered Sammies

If you’re like my husband, and cringe when you hear sandwiches referred to as “sammies”, just rename this to “Pastrami Sandwiches”.  I don’t think it sounds as cute, but it’ll do!  Also, feel free to get creative and switch up the meats and cheeses.

6. Milano Cookie Crust Cheesecake

Bite-sized cheesecakes for the win!

7. Guacamole

Always a crowd favorite!  Remember to not make this too far in advance… oxidation will occur and your vivid green gauc will start to brown.

8. Cheddar Chutney Spread

This unique spread/dip is always a party-pleaser.  It’s not your average cheese dip, which draws people back to it.  I like to dip pretzel chips in it but Fritos also make for a great dipper!

9. Chocolate Chip Cookies

Add some sweetness to your party!

10. Jalapeno Pigs in a Blanket

It only takes 3 ingredients to make these addicting bites!!

Enjoy your Super Bowl festivities!!
